So I wanted to reach out to the professor to confirm the schedule for Spring 17  Ill post what I said, and then show his reply..

So it appears it is NOT the link in my email that is the future schedule, but will be Fall 16's schedule ( Fall 16, OMSCS 6505's schedule) .... (This is always subject to interpretation and is not concrete evidence anyway)

I am a student in the OMSCS program and have signed up for your Graduate Algorithms, Spring 2017 class.

I would like to be prepared for the next semester and would like to start reading relevant chapters during Winter Break.

Is this URL valid for next semester's schedule?

Professor Eric Vigoda's Reply

I believe the spring class will be the same as the current 6505.
My revised version of 6505 will start in the fall, I haven't
finished preparing the online version.  If you already started 
preparing by reading the Dasgupta textbook that is also a good
prep for the algorithms component of 6505.
